  • We are proud to say that our farm will never be sold to a developer for houses.  Our farm is now preserved land that will always stay farm land or open space.

  • “Griggstown Quail Farm worked closely with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to develop an efficient and environmentally friendly way of composting manure generated on the farm. To achieve this; Griggstown Quail Farm and NRCS worked together to construct an adequate surface for composting, and a proper roofed facility to house manure and compost. The end result made it easier and more effective to compost manure properly; the roofed storage creates a dry area for the end product and the compost pad allows for proper turning and aerobic decomposition of compost windrows. The construction of these facilities addressed several resource concerns including nitrate leaching, nutrient runoff and resulted in a reduction of the overall number of flies.”
